The light itself
Red and near-infrared light is absorbed by mitochondria, the structures that produce energy within cells — a field known as photobiomodulation, studied since the 1960s. Systematic reviews have examined whole-body photobiomodulation for exercise performance and recovery, and clinical trials support its use in skin rejuvenation. Delivered dose depends on intensity, distance and exposure time together, which is why configuration matters and why we specify each installation individually.
